What a year!

Anyone who thought the economy had peaked in 2023 was proved wrong in 2024. Artificial intelligence, geopolitical tensions and demographic change have made the economy even more dynamic. Companies are increasingly recognizing that a stable IT infrastructure is essential for future viability and resilience.

Our customers are successfully navigating various areas of tension: they are planning in an unpredictable world, using AI and ensuring integration and security, complying with regulatory requirements and remaining flexible. They seize opportunities without jeopardizing their strategy and manage complex IT with smaller budgets. They make processes environmentally friendly and profitable and promote a hybrid corporate culture.

We are proud of our successes, including two WirtschaftsWoche “Best of Consulting” rankings and many other project successes. As we look ahead to the new year, we would like to give you a brief outlook for 2025 and thank our clients and partners, without whom none of this would have been possible.

Current topics of our customers

2024 was also an exciting year in other respects: a good 250 projects with almost 100 customers speak for themselves! Here is a small selection of projects that are currently relevant for our customers:

For a global corporation, we supported the introduction of a global cloud security posture management platform that continuously detects and rectifies security-relevant misconfigurations in a wide range of cloud environments. The customer is now able to continuously monitor its cloud environments.
Together with a leading health insurance provider, we developed and introduced a flexible data and AI strategy that is continuously being developed. This enabled the client to pursue an adaptable business strategy supported by data and AI – and is now able to react flexibly to changes.
We have developed an AI-supported data platform for a supplier that analyzes data flows and enables the targeted use of business intelligence. This enables the customer to avoid high penalties and optimize preventive orders through more precise sales forecasts.
A global group was faced with the task of continuously monitoring all activities, processes and systems and embedding them in strong governance. Geopolitical tensions required forward-looking measures. We developed “what-if” scenarios that allowed the client to run through possible outages of its core services and prepare optimally for critical situations.

Outlook

The right level of digitization for my company: A strategic perspective

We live in a time full of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity – VUCA for short. Markets are reacting ever more erratically to geopolitical developments, new technologies and crises; predictability and stability seem to be giving way to constant dynamism. If you want to remain a stable, flexible and future-oriented player in the market tomorrow, we advise you to continue building up your digital skills. In this context, the “right” level of digitalization becomes a decisive competitive advantage.

Digital transformation varies from company to company and does not follow a rigid pattern. In order to achieve the right level of digitalization, it is important to know your own status quo and set clear goals. A maturity level analysis helps to divide digitalization into five stages: from awareness, initialization and consolidation to the digital vision and finally the digital champion, the digital pioneer role. These five maturity levels and the steps required in each case cover all strategic aspects of the transformation – from planning new technologies and training employees to implementing digital processes and structures.
